BRAZIL - ATLANTIC RAINFOREST

Daybreak in Brazil's Atlantic Rainforest - just a couple hours from Sao Paulo lies one of the most diverse and biologically rich areas in the world. Some of the more iconic species found here include the Jaguar, Ocelot, Tapir, and Howler Monkey; over 350 bird species including the world's largest raptor the Harpy Eagle; over 400 species of reptiles and amphibians; and an almost infinite number of plant species.

Hidden pools and cascades lie deep inside the Rainforest.

Magpie Tanager - there are over 25 Tanager species in this rainforest. By comparison, there are five Tanager species found in all the USA and Canada.

Tawny-browed Owl - one of ten Owl species found in this rainforest.
